The York County Semiquincentennial Committee is gearing up for America’s 250th Birthday which will launch July 4th, 2026

As part of the festivities, we are interested in creating a special 250th anniversary quilt that will showcase York County’s landmarks and feature symbols representing all municipalities in the county. To bring this vision to life, a Quilt Anniversary Committee is being formed to oversee the quilt’s creation, which will serve as a centerpiece for the 250th celebration launch in 2026 and beyond. The quilt will be displayed throughout York County over the entire year, offering residents and visitors alike a chance to appreciate this unique piece of local history and artistry.
