This is a charity Love Quilt Project.  The foundation contacts schools across the US and has students create a center patch for a traditional log cabin block.  They contact quilters, across the country, to make the log cabin block and sew the quilt top together and mail the tops to be quilted.  The completed quilts are sent to foster homes in the US and South Africa.

THE LOVE QUILT PROJECT raises funds to support the specific educational and emotional needs of at-risk children living in foster care in South Africa and the United States. Along with the donation for their educational needs we also engage with children in both countries to create art squares containing messages of compassion, kindness, and love for children facing the challenges of foster care. These messages are stitched into beautiful handmade quilts and then given to each child we help.

MISSION STATEMENT:  To provide educational support to at-risk South African and American children living in foster care, and to provide Love Quilts for each child that we support.
